Due to rain in Springfield today’s pour has been canceled.
Helps us with good impressions by helping us with the final front porch concrete pour for the R-Street side of Fischer Village. The big fancy pumper trucks will not be there, but there will be plenty of wheelbarrows to carry the concrete to the patio. Reminds me of a little joke...
Long work pants and closed-toe shoes are required and don’t forget to bring a water bottle and lunch. All necessary tools and training will be provided, including work gloves, eye protection, and sanitized hard hats. If you have tools you wish to bring from home, just make sure they’re easily identifiable with your name.
This will be a little bit earlier of a morning -- we’ll meet at 9:00 am on site! Work will take place as the weather allows. Keep an eye out for an email the afternoon prior to your volunteer shift with more details!
