While I have reached out to all of you via phone regarding the concrete pour, I did leave a few voice messages. With the rain, the concrete pour has been cancelled. Thanks to all of you for signing up and being fantastic volunteers.
We are going to have a great time with concrete once again! This time, we will be pouring patio concrete, so the big fancy pumper trucks will not be there, but there will be plenty of wheelbarrows to carry the concrete to the patio.
Long work pants and closed-toe shoes are required and don’t forget to bring a water bottle and lunch. All necessary tools and training will be provided, including work gloves, eye protection, and sanitized hard hats. If you have tools you wish to bring from home, just make sure they’re easily identifiable with your name.
This will be a little bit earlier of a morning -- we’ll meet at 9:00 am on site! Work will take place as the weather allows. Keep an eye out for an email the afternoon prior to your volunteer shift with more details!
