We will be pouring a 50 ft section of sidewalk on the Q street side of Fischer Village in Springfield. Weather dependent (but looking good) we are scheduled for concrete on Wednesday 3/25 at 9am for volunteer arrival and 10am for the start of the pour. Pour will be completed by noon. This is a small section of concrete.
Long work pants and closed-toe shoes are required and don’t forget to bring a water bottle and lunch. All necessary tools and training will be provided, including work gloves, eye protection, and sanitized hard hats. If you have tools you wish to bring from home, just make sure they’re easily identifiable with your name. Work will take place as the weather allows. Volunteers should park on R street as there is no parking on Q Street.
