While this property spans two blocks (entrances on both R street and Q street) , there is only street parking on R street. From my personal experience, there is always ample parking on R street. (please do not disturb occupants of Fischer Village)7477
DRESS CODE: Long work pants and closed-toe shoes are required and don’t forget to bring a water bottle and lunch. All necessary tools and training will be provided, including work gloves and eye protection. If you have tools you wish to bring from home, just make sure they’re easily identifiable with your name.
The volunteer day is weather dependent! Please check your email the morning of your opportunity before heading out to Fischer Village! Should weather dictate a day-of cancellation, you will have an email in your inbox letting you know by 8 am on the morning of the opportunity. We want to see you on site, but as always, we have to ensure the day’s work can be accomplished safely and effectively.
