Who We Are
Habitat for Humanity is deeply committed to the priority that all people deserve a decent, affordable place to live. Working with individuals and families, volunteers, and dedicated supporters, we build homes, communities, and hope.
Habitat for Humanity's Home Repair Program helps low-income people by providing low-cost home repairs with the help of volunteers. These repairs make a tremendous impact on local homeowners and are vital to keeping homes safe and accessible for years to come.
Habitat for Humanity of Central Lane works to eliminate sub-standard housing by assisting low-income homeowners, including veterans, seniors and disabled homeowners with minor exterior home repairs. Typical projects include exterior painting, accessibility ramps, gutter repair, fence repair, deck and stair repair, and overgrown brush removal.
Volunteers work under the supervision of a trained site supervisor to help accomplish these repairs. We work Thursday-Saturday on projects throughout the area and provide all needed tools, safety equipment, and know-how. This opportunity is a great chance to give back to your community and to learn some handy skills.
